Blue Exorcist Characters

Rin Okumura (奥村燐 Okumura Rin) is the son of Satan and the elder twin brother of Yukio Okumura. Studying as an Exwire at True Cross Academy, Rin desires to claim a Knight Meister and defeat his blood-father.

Yukio Okumura is one of the main protagonists in Ao no Exorcist. He is Rin's younger twin brother. A straight arrow and kind-hearted by nature, his goal is to become a Doctor. Unbeknown to his brother, he is a brilliant Exorcist - the youngest in history - in short, a genius. His abilities are gradually unveiled during his time at the Exorcism Cram School and is now an Exorcist teacher.

Izumo Kamiki (神木出雲 Kamiki Izumo) is a female student at the Exorcism Cram School. Strong-willed, and something of a "tsundere (hot/cold personality)". She comes from a long line of shrine maidens, and was born with Heian Period noblewoman-like eyebrows. Although a top student, she is quite condescending towards her classmates, both in actions and words.

Ryuji Suguro ( 勝呂 竜士 Suguro Ryūji), also called Bon, is an Exwire at the True Cross Academy, where he is Rin's rival and the prodigy in the class. He is the child of the Head Priest of a temple that was destroyed during the Blue Night, and as such vows to defeat Satan.

Konekomaru Miwa is one of the main supporting characters in the series. Hailing from Kyoto along with Ryuji Suguro and Renzo Shima, he is an Exwire of the True Cross Order, a student of the Exorcist Cram School, and the surviving head of the Miwa family.

Nemu Takara is a quiet and mysterious character that carries around a sock puppet. He uses ventriloquism to talk and he's usually rude. Although initially posing as an Exwire, Nemu's powers are revealed to be equivalent to that of an upper first class Exorcist. He is hired by Mephisto as a 'moderator' for the cram students.

Renzo Shima (志摩 廉造 Shima Renzō) was a very carefree Exwire and childhood friend to Ryuji Suguro and Konekomaru until his affiliation with the Illuminati was brought to light.

Mephisto Pheles (メフィスト・フェレス Mefīsuto Fēresu), whose real name is Samael (サマエル Samaeru), is an Exorcist and the second strongest of the Eight Demon Kings; he holds the title The King of Time (時の王 Toki no Ō).[1] He uses the name Johann Faust V (ヨハン·ファウスト Yohan Fausuto) in public and is the Principal of True Cross Academy.[2] Following the death of Shiro Fujimoto, Mephisto takes it upon himself to enroll Rin in True Cross Academy.

Shura Kirigakure (霧隠 シュラ Kirigakure Shura) is an Upper First Class Exorcist and Rin Okumura's mentor. She trained under the guidance of Shiro Fujimoto to obtain the title Meister as a Knight. She officially works as an Inspector for the Vatican, but has infiltrated True Cross Academy first as a student under the name Yamada and later as a teacher for the Exwires.

Amaimon (アマイモン Amaimon) is the seventh strongest of the Eight Demon Kings; he holds the title The King of Earth (地の王 Chi no Ō).[2]

Shiemi Moriyama (杜山 しえみ Moriyama Shiemi) is an Exwire at the True Cross Academy and is training to be a Tamer.
