1. Children assessments must match what the children learn like explaining orally
2. Assessments conducted during an activity or lesson
Once children are learning to read pencil and paper may be used.
Concrete Tasks for preschoolers
1. Task must be at the same level of difficulty for the learning activities designed for the learning objective.
2. Make sure their is enough material for the task to be administered multiple times
3. Variety of objectives
Test for primary-grade
1. Items match child’s reading level
2. clear directions
3. multiple choice has one correct answer
4. lengths of blanks are the same as the answer
5. Keep lists of items brief.
How tests are designed and Used
1.Test measures students accomplishments and learning needs in relation to specific classroom objectives.
2. Test provides the teacher with instructional planning.
